Frontline Solutions - Servigistics acquires service parts price optimization solution
Company expands product portfolio
Service parts management specialist Servigistics has expanded its offerings to include three solution suites, and acquired price optimization solution provider ProfitScience.
ProfitScience's solutions help clients maximize demand and profitability of service parts through pricing. The ProfitScience solution is the core of the new Servigistics Profitability Suite.
According to the company, price optimization can improve profitability by up to 16%, and can increase revenue by 10%.
With the acquisition, Servigistics adds 30 new clients to its client base in high-tech and automotive.
ProfitScience President and CEO Bill Huyler will remain with the company as President of Servigistics Pricing Services. "By combining our unique domain knowledge and expertise in service parts pricing and profit optimization with Servigistics' best-in-class service parts management capabilities, we can provide leading global companies with a truly comprehensive service parts management solution that will deliver greater savings, efficiencies, and profitability."
In addition tot he Profitability Suite, the other two offerings in the Servigistics portfolio include:
*Servigistics Planning Suite, which includes forecasting, planning, and optimization of companies? global service parts network.
*Servigistics Visibility Suite, which provides event monitoring and analysis capabilities for a real-time view of the service chain. It also provides analysis of key performance indicators at all levels of the service chain.
"We're aggressively building out the product portfolio," said Gary Brooks, executive vice president of marketing at Servigistics. "Planning is our historical strength, but it only solves a portion of the equation. When you put these three suites together, we're delivering significantly increased value to our clients."
All three suites are available now, and can be implemented separately or as a comprehensive solution.
