Supply Chain Systems - Nihon Unisys Partners with Servigistics to Offer Solutions Throughout Japan

Nihon Unisys Ltd., Tokyo, a systems integration provider, and Servigistics Asia Inc., a subsidiary of Servigistics Inc. USA (Atlanta), a provider of service-parts management solutions, are partnering to offer service parts management solutions throughout Japan. Servigistics Asia was established in April 2004 and has been deployed in Japan’s Toshiba Medical Systems following a six-month implementation. According to a press release, the new partnership is now on track to close deals with 20 customers in the high-tech, semiconductor, precision machine, auto, and aerospace industries, generating more than 3 billion yen. Nihon Unisys has been concentrating on after-service business, such as support and maintenance, since 2001.
