This was a year of growth for Servigistics, a leader in service parts management for distribution-centric field service. The company is doubling its year-over-year revenue targets, adding 14 new clients this year (including 3 clients with a recurring revenue model, expansion into Europe, and the opening of an office in Japan to manage sales through partnerships). Servigistics, which has 65 clients, 130 employees, and 15 active implementations, expects a record fourth quarter. Unlike other vendors in the space, it was able to increase the number and size of deals closed in 2005. In parallel, it did not lose focus on customer service with Dell and Sun, earning Servigistics “supplier of the year” awards. Its vision is to build on the service parts price management assets from the ProfitScience acquisition and continue to build depth in a field service product that helps companies capitalize on the revenue, profit, and customer loyalty opportunities associated with the delivery of world-class service. The race for an extended service system is on with a number of vendors, including ClickCommerce, i2 Technologies, MCA, Oracle, SAP, and ServicePower. Servigistics expects to expand its products the coming year.
