SM365 - Bristol Base for Servigistics in Europe
US-based service parts management software company, Servigistics has built its European headquarters in Bristol.
Eric Hinkle, the company’s chief executive officer, said the company was expanding in the EMEA region and needed a base here to better serve its customers. ‘We are confident that our successful track record of transforming after-sales service in global market-leading businesses will extend throughout Europe’, he added.
General manager Kevin Tingey, formerly of QAD, will lead the Bristol operation. He said: ‘Bristol holds many opportunities for us as a business. We wanted to be based where we had access to quality, skilled people and good transport links - the proximity to Bristol International (airport) with its EU and US connections was a major consideration. But we were also keen to offer staff a semi-rural location where they could thrive in a healthy and stimulating working environment.’
Tingey will lead a team of 15 at the site and co-ordinate executives in other European countries.
