Servigistics Inc. has acquired TransDecisions Inc., whose systems are used by Allied Waste and Ikon Office Solutions to schedule and dispatch service calls, map routes, and track vehicles.
The companies did not disclose financial terms.
At its launch in 2000, TransDecisions disclosed $6 million in funding from Acer Technology Ventures of Santa Clara, Calif., and several other firms. In 2003, TransDecisions sold Bentley Systems Inc. its software geared toward state departments of transportation.
Servigistics sells software to plan the availability and price of service parts, and to manage technicians. The Atlanta company has raised more than $30 million in venture financing, with backers including Bain Capital Ventures of Boston.
TransDecisions is based in Natick, Mass.
