Servigistics Inc., a maker of after-sales service software, has inked a multimillion-dollar deal with Eurocopter S.A.
The Atlanta-based company, which just acquired Boston-based software maker TransDecisions Inc., will sell software to the military and civilian helicopter-maker that will help the company better track its parts.
Gary Brooks, executive vice president of marketing alliances, said Servigistics has been aggressively targeting Europe over the past year. In 2005, he said, the company grew its European revenue four times. The company also over the past year has been targeting the aerospace industry.
Servigistics' customers tend to be in the aerospace, automotive, telecom and computer manufacturing industries. Some clients include Motorola Inc. (NYSE: MOT), the U.S. Postal Service and Mazda Motor Corp.
Servigistics, founded by Chief Technology Officer Mike Landry in 1999, employs 160 people and has raised $26 million in venture capital. Investors in the company include Cordova Ventures, The Robinson Humphrey Co., Bain Capital Ventures and others.
