SupplyChainNetwork.com: "Air Canada Chooses Servigistics for Service Parts Management"
Air Canada, Canada’s largest full-service airline and the largest provider of scheduled passenger services in the Canadian market, the Canada-U.S. trans-border market and the international market to and from Canada, has selected the Servigistics Service Parts Management solution to improve overall operational efficiency while reducing operating costs.
Air Canada will use the Servigistics solution to manage their multi-million dollar rotable pool of inventory across locations in Canada, APAC and EMEA. Implementation of the Servigistics solution will help Air Canada improve overall supply chain responsiveness, reduce operating costs and risk, and decrease AOG (Aircraft on Ground) time. Air Canada chose Servigistics because of its best-in-class solution and proven track record of success in the Aerospace and Defense arena.
“Air Canada is committed to service excellence, so on-time performance and operational reliability is a top priority” said Diane Mazuroski, Senior Director, Supply Chain, Air Canada. “With Servigistics, we can become proactive rather than reactive with our parts inventory, which will enable us to better support maintenance of our fleet
“In the increasingly competitive aviation industry, delivering outstanding service is necessary for success,” said Eric Hinkle, CEO, Servigistics. “Air Canada is looking to build on their already strong reputation by strategically investing in service operations, and we are very pleased that they selected Servigistics as their preferred partner.”
