Servigistics Receives Dell Service Supplier of the Year Award
Service Parts Management Leader Recognized for Delivering Outstanding Quality, Innovation and Value
The Dell “Service Supplier of the Year Award” is one of six categories in the company’s annual Worldwide Procurement Supplier Awards, which recognize Dell’s top suppliers for exceeding the company’s quality, service and support requirements. As a recipient of the award, Servigistics stood out among the thousands of Dell service suppliers evaluated on quality, global citizenship, service, continuity of supply and cost.
The Servigistics solution is used by Dell to successfully manage and optimize the company’s distributed service parts inventory, which is critical to delivering timely customer service repairs. Implemented across Dell’s service parts network and worldwide Enterprise Command Centers, Servigistics enables the company to maximize customer service levels while reducing service parts inventory and improving the efficiency of the company’s service operations.
“Our suppliers are critical to helping Dell deliver an industry-leading experience to customers who expect nothing but the best product quality and value from us,” said Martin J. Garvin, senior vice president of Dell’s Worldwide Procurement Group and Global Customer Experience. “These suppliers affect Dell’s direct relationships with the largest enterprise customers down to individual consumers and have helped us achieve our most successful year with record-breaking operating results.”
“Servigistics is truly honored to be recognized by Dell with this year’s Service Supplier of the Year Award,” said Eric Hinkle, Servigistics CEO. “Dell is an exciting company –they are an innovative global market leader applying leading-edge capabilities to leverage service as a growth engine.
