Servigistics Establishes Presence in Greater China; Opens Offices in Beijing and Taipei

Industry leader expands in APAC to enhance global client relations and capitalize on new opportunities

Servigistics, the leading strategic service management solution provider, today announced its expansion into Greater China with the opening of two new Asia-Pacific (“APAC”) headquarters in Taipei and Beijing.  Mr. YiRen Lin, a proven sales executive and former sales director at Aspen Technologies, will serve as country manager and will be responsible for all sales, marketing, services, and partner relationships within Greater China.

“Servigistics’ continued expansion throughout APAC reflects our commitment to serving the needs of our growing global client base,” said Hiroshi Shimizu, General Manager of APAC for Servigistics. “YiRen Lin’s valuable sales and management experience coupled with Servigistics’ proven track record of delivering immediate, measurable value to global leading companies will enable us to better serve our existing clients, while enabling us to capitalize on new opportunities throughout the APAC region.”

“In today’s competitive global market, after-sale service is no longer viewed as a cost of doing business, but as a strategy leading companies can leverage to increase revenue, profitability and customer service levels,” said YiRen Lin, Country Manager for Greater China, Servigistics APAC. “As more companies recognize the value of strategic service management, they are searching for technology solutions that can rapidly transform their worldwide service operations.  Servigistics’ proven track record of successful global deployments with 100% referenceable leading clients, coupled with the global reach of our company, best positions us to help these companies achieve their service business goals.”

Servigistics has a growing list of global leading clients in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, including Dainippon Screen, Konica Minolta, LG Electronics, Toshiba Medical, Toshiba Tec and Nihon Unisys. Building on the company’s already strong and growing presence in the Americas and EMEA, Servigistics extended operations to Asia in 2004 by opening regional headquarters in Tokyo to provide local services and support for APAC-headquartered clients, as well as to serve in-region operations of global clients headquartered in the Americas and EMEA.
