Aberdeen Report Highlights Servigistics for “Evolving as a Broader Service Management” Solution
SPM solution selection report lists Servigistics as the only SPM specialist offering service parts management, pricing, and workforce solutions
Servigistics, the leading strategic service management solution provider, is highlighted in a recent Aberdeen Group Research Report for offering deep, sophisticated functionality in service parts planning and forecasting, while standing out among other ‘SPM Specialists’ for offering a broader solution that also includes workforce management and pricing solutions.
Aberdeen’s report, entitled “The Service Parts Management (SPM) Solution Landscape,” states “Servigistics has historically competed as an SPM specialist, but with new offerings in workforce management and service parts pricing, it is evolving as a broader service management system. Servigistics offers deep service parts management functionality and domain expertise as part of its Strategic Service Management (SSM) solution which includes service parts management, service pricing management and workforce planning, scheduling and routing optimization.”
Aberdeen’s report examines the SPM solution selection criteria used by best-in-class service organizations and recommends that companies focus on forecasting, planning, inventory management, pricing and contract management when evaluating SPM solutions. The report concludes that companies leveraging SPM solutions on average achieved a 10% increase in customer satisfaction/retention, a 22% reduction in overall service costs, and a 14% growth in service revenues.
“Today’s leading companies are increasingly recognizing the value of Strategic Service Management (SSM) and are no longer viewing service as a cost of doing business, but as a strategy they can leverage to increase revenue, profitability, and customer service levels,” said Gary Brooks, Servigistics EVP Marketing & Alliances. “Aberdeen’s report accurately reflects the significant value achieved from utilizing Servigistics, while emphasizing the strategic advancement of service and our position as the only provider to deliver a comprehensive solution that integrates service parts management, service parts pricing and workforce management.”
